(February 26, 2019, 3:27 pm)Sushi was good; the compositions were reasonable and well executed and the menu was tastefully constructed. We tried 5 different rolls and an appetizer, and received fruit and an appetizer and tea on the house. Very nice people who evidently enjoy what they are doing. Overall an excellent experience.

(January 2, 2019, 2:47 am)This place is your hole in the wall sushi pot-of-gold. It's a very small location with only a few seats. However, don't let any of this fool you, the staff and chef will show you the very true benefits of having a small location. By the time you're done with your dinner you'll find yourself best friends with the chef.

(November 19, 2018, 2:35 am)Sushi Joon is one of the best sushi reataurants I have ever eaten at. Not only is the staff very friendly, the food is incredible. We ordered a variety of different rolls including the Joon Roll, Rainbow dragon, and mango roll. The fish is very fresh, and everything was prepared beautifully. Joon even treated us to some delicious appetizers on him! For dessert I had the raindrop, and it was very refreshing. This place is a must if you want some great sushi and Japanese cuisine! ????

(November 18, 2018, 12:47 am)The owner is super hospitable and generous. We always get free snacks from them and they makes us feel welcomed and homey. Sushi Joon is one of the best experience we've had in Chicago.
