Went here last night. Great service and the food was excellent! The Nipote Pizza was killer. Excellent ingredients. But oddly enough, I can’t get the amazing flavor of the family style ESCAROLE, BEANS and winter vegetable soup out of my mind. I know is only soup but it was incredibly. The infusion of garlic and pecorino cheese in that broth. WTF. So good!!!! Overall, you can’t beat this place. Great value and incredibly passion for serving italian food. Keep up the good work! Highly recommend.
We stumbled in here because a snowstorm prevented us from driving out to meet friends in the burbs. Got off expressway at Belmont and decided to eat at the first place that looked decent. Had never heard of Pisolina and didn’t know the neighborhood at all. What a find. Small, cozy and full with reservations, they offered us a spot at the bar. The bartender was so friendly and helpful with the wine that when a table opened up, we chose to stay at the bar. Burrata salad, bean and escarole soup, potato gnocchi with incredibly fresh tomato sauce, and semifreddo for dessert. Each dish was excellent. The pizzas looked great but no more room at the inn. Other friendly diners at the bar to chat with as well. From a snowstorm made of lemons came lemonade. We will be back but don’t want to let too many people know.
Very helpful and attentive service. Delicious food! If you're in the area, I highly recommend.
Great food, service and ambience. First time, but positively won't be our last. Life long resident of Boston, and a frequent patron of the many outstanding Italian restaurants of the North End of the ciy. Pisolino more than holds it own in that company.
This is a lovely little spot with big flavors! We had the Giacomino pizza and it was decadent. The ingredients are certainly of the highest quality and it was amazing how nice and crisp the bottom of the pizza stayed with all the toppings.
Great selection of Italian wines and other cocktails.
I’d highly recommend Pisolino for the food, the cozy ambiance, and impeccable service!
