Decided to grab lunch at HMart and got in the Izakaya Yume line. Wasn't sure what to expect and it seemed a bit pricey, but I ordered the Yumerrito (sushi burrito w/spicy tuna and shrimp tempura). It was delicious! I'm definitely going back. The burrito was a good size, worth the price. Could be shareable depending on your appetite.
Hard to find if you weren't expecting it to be inside a grocery store. I went at noon, so it was packed but not a terrible wait to get the food. Still pushing it if on a timed lunch. Very surprised by how clean and efficient everything was once inside though.
I ordered their lunch box(B13) and crunchy dragon roll(B37). Pricey but it filled me up well. If you don't know a lot about sushi, the lunch has a roll, 4 individual pieces and a salad. The individual pieces has a punch of wasabi I wasnt expecting. Roll was typical, fresh rice and crisp veggies. For the specialty roll, it was definitely more of a meaty or heavier type of roll. Good for a picky eater though. Of course, if you have never had a Royal Milk Tea I LOVE them. Very sweet, but clean milk tea for a canned one.
It's no high end sushi but it was pretty good overall. Meat, rice and veggies fresh and textured well. Everything looked clean from the counter. Locals seem to love it.
Came to meet the owner and was impressed. Nice setup, cozy atmosphere, and the smells were amazing! Had the kimchi udon which was wonderful. The pickly yet spicy kimchi was a winner. It went well with the pork that Kate ( owner) suggested. The base was very good. Full of flavor while not overpowering the star "Kimchi". Great Food, could eat here everyday. Healthy too.
I had the karaagedon which was very tasty. The chicken was moist and flavorful. Price could be a bit lower, but it's in line with the neighborhood.
Crunch Dragon was tasty but could do without so much of that creamy mayo sauce.
Salmon Poke was drenched in some sweet sauce that detracted from the fish. Also it was a small portion for the price.
