Great food, you definitely get your moneys worth. You can even bring your own bottle of liquor. Prices are reasonable for sea food. Full plate of Crab legs that comes straight out the shell.

Very great environment and the food is amazing and delicious. This the place I always go to get seafood. Recommended!

Flew to Chicago for one night just to have a steak dinner and was not disappointed in Bavette's. I did a lot of research before making my reservation and saw where it appeared it was our best bet. One of the clinching factors was Maude's Tower. So much seafood (lobster, king crab, oysters, shrimp and salmon civiche) all on an impressive display. We almost finished the entire thing which was a feat on its own. It would more be in-line for 4-5 people but hey, we flew there for dinner so go first class! After that we split a steak and the creamed spinach - both worth the trip on their own. Finally, our server Julio, brought us out the chocolate pie for dessert. The were only two downsides to the whole evening. First, I've read other people make the same comment, that we had to wait a while on our reservation. Second, it was almost too dark. I loved the atmosphere but I wasn't the only person pulling out a cell phone to read the menu. Can't wait to go back!

The food, prices and portions are amazing! The place could use a deep cleaning and/or remodeling though. They have live Mariachi and it's also BYOB. This is one of my favorite Mexican seafood restaurants.

Big portions. I had a 50 dollar crab leg dish with no rice or side included. The waiter forgot to bring my sons meal out. Food quality is there. Just lacks in service.
