    Since they opened the original one on Lincoln Avenue, the quality has gone downhill since they franchised. It wouldn't shock me if I knew they switched to a cheaper roast beef brand lately. Because it was bland. Just kind of a sad sandwich. Not as fresh as it used to be, not as flavorful.

    Local Option tried to pull that nonsense, too, and yeah we NOTICE the difference when you switch to cheap meat (it IS Chicago, we are meat experts), and I personally don't go back again.

    Consistent good quality toasted sandwiches at an affordable price. It is located at a good location near the bookstore, theater and the gym. Perfect for a snack. This location is clean and organized with no line and a nice outside patio area.
    Metered or free street parking. Credit accepted, air conditioned.
