Taquería Uptown

Good food at reasonable prices. Just a diner with a few tables and a counter.

First good tacos I've had since I moved to Chicago. The carnitas were tender and moist and they stack the tacos with meat. Just the right amount of onion and cilantro and the verde was delicious. We got take out so no comment on the service but the price was right for a dinner for two. Will be back again.

The service was very good. The food was different taste of Mexican food than we a custom to in southern California. Over all the restaurant was clean but simple.. The cost of the plate was more than fair.

On the corner of Bryn Mawr and Broadway lay this quiet little taqueria. The food is rather great, and can fill up even me. It should be noted that i can eat a small papa johns pizza on my own. The service is sick and friendly, and it's never really loud there in my experience. Food is great and comes out quickly.

It's fine. I come here every once in a while, since I live close-by. Nothing that's going to blow you away, but it's decent and gets the job done. The "Taco Dinner" (3 tacos, rice & beans) is a healthy serving.
