Pho Cafe

Very good portions and a good price also the beef they use in the pho tai is good quality

Not bad. Reliable. Won't disappoint

Pho was decent, and Bun Bo Hue was acceptable. This restaurant which was used to be Cafe Hoang was struggled to maintain the food quality after its owner had been changed. Apparently, the quality went downhill, but it was still a fine place to have some Vietnamese food if one can make it to Argyle, especially for people who live close to South Side and the Loop. The Vietnamese coffee was quite bad. There was metered parking on the street in front of the restaurant.

The rare beef pho is fantastic! I can never get tired of the broth, it's that good. We also had the lemongrass chicken and shrimp skewers and they were decent as well. Also, they give you way too much food so be prepared to share!

Do order the durian smoothie to end your meal with. I tasted it for the first time and was definitely satisfied.
