I've been frequenting the Red Lobster Franchise for over 3 decades all over the country, and I have never given them 5 stars. I'm giving them a 5 star rating, not because they've upgraded their menu, or bus the tables any more efficiently. I gave them 5 stars, because my waitress Diana was a real Gem. I expressed my concerns about everything that my wife and I were going to order, and she (Diana) patiently walked us through the menu, and made viable alternatives. Diana Enlightened us on a couple of items, tweaked a few ideas, and at the end of our experience, it was the best one in recent memories. It didn't stop there. She constantly checked on us, but not like you grow to expect. She was genuine and she made us feel like we were a part of her family. I was at this same establishment 2 weeks ago, and while I won't mention his name, my waiter was distant and cold, and he did everything by rote. The encounter with this inept robotic waiter only made our dining experience with Diana that much more wonderful. Check her out, you won't be disappointed, I promise...
It was a so so experience. It was a snowstorm that day, but my GF and I were already out. So we decided on Red Lobster.
The food was good. My steak was cooked to perfection. The service was lacking in energy though. Our server kept forgetting little things and overall seemed to want to be anywhere but there. I get it since the weather was bad, but professionalism has to be maintained.
I'm not around this area often so I can say with certainty, I'll NEVER come here again.
The service was great, the food was good and hot, the wait time was a bit longer than I and my friend expected but it was worth it. The waitress was friendly, pretty, funny and polite. I forgot her name though. The lights were dimmed and it wasn't cold at all.
