Don Chilo Restaurant

Food was okay, service wasn't that good, food took a while to come. Long story short, if you have some time to burn and don't mind being ignored and possibly overcharged, it's an okay place to get some Mexican food.

They have Elote which is so hard to find in Chicago. This was the highlight of eating there. You also get a large portion of food which is great too!

(yes they tried to charge me more than menu price, but I can read, just they didn't think so)

I got a steak burrito. The wait was kinda long and was a bit over priced. The flavor was good but I had to pick off burnt pieces of meat off the outside. Which says to me they don’t clean the stove top too often. I may return to give them another chance.

From the reviews I've read, I was kind of skeptical. I ordered from uber eats and the tacos(steak) and the beef nachos was superb. I don't know what was it like previously but when I read reviews I just want to hear and read about if the food is worthy. The prices are a little high but I really did enjoy the food and I will order from them again.
