La Catedral Cafe & Restaurant

This is a great little restaurant, Mexican diner place. It has great breakfast food, made fresh to order. It is kind of a hidden gem, and usually not too crowded for a delicious meal. The service is great, attentive, and friendly. Their claim to fame is crepes and pancakes. I don’t really enjoy those things, but all the egg dishes, sandwiches, and Mexican food are top notch, so I’m sure the crepes and pancakes are excellent. Check it out, and you won’t be disappointed.

The cafe de olla was made to perfection! The chilaquiles a la diabla were spicy with lots of flavor. The arroz con leche French toast was to die for.

This restaurant is very interesting. The theme is cathedral which hence has the name. They added saints and religious objects to decorate the place. We waited a total of 15 minutes on saturday morning. They have a long dining area and they were friendly upon our arrival.
They had alot of mexican dishes some where creative using mexican ingredients such as rompope(mexican eggnog) and cajeta(goats milk dulce the leche). We receive our breakfast and ut was tasty and flavorful. The cafe de olla was delicious. We had both the iced version and hot version.
If you want unique Mexican flavor combinations this is the place to go. I will definitely come back and try other items.

Coffee was delicious and huge cups! Breakfast was great and light; I didn't feel heavy or sluggish after eating. The food did have good authentic flavors from Mexico. Prices are reasonable and menu was specific and easy to read. I can't wait to go back and try something else on the menu.
