My first time here the staff was very friendly. Ordered the jumbo seasoned shrimp and the coconut shrimp. Delicious!

This is the only top quality fried seafood place you'll find on Archer. They offer more than just fried everything like Korner Shrimp House (r.i.p.). You get sides like potato salad, coleslaw, macaroni salad, and cheese cake! They give you fries and tasty, toasted garlic bread with your order plus a nice wedge of lemon. The breading on everything is great. Not gritty corn meal, not soggy and well seasoned but not overly salty. I've had the shrimp, fish chips, perch, smelts and gator bites. The gator is probably the only thing in a fan of but that's really just the meat itself. The only place that's as good as Shrimp Shack is The Fish Keg up in Skokie (if they're still around since the owner passed :( ).

The food is ok. The seasoned shrimp didn't taste seasoned. And they are pricey. Frank's shrimp are better and less expensive. But they have a big variety of seafood. Shark,frog legs ,lobster etc....
