KAYBEE's Indian Flavor

Really good IndoPak food. This place is WAY better than all the cabbie joints in the area (Like Flaming Wok and Pakeeza etc). For one; the food menu is much larger. For another; this place has a legit vegetarian menu. For yet another ( :-)); they have items you cannot get in the Cabbie joints; like Baghara Baingan; Mushroom curries etc. They also have a tandoor; so the Naan is fresh. The tea tastes weird; so I would skip that and get lassi. The Pakoras are not fried properly and the batter still tasted kinda raw, so I would advise you to get the samosas; especially the mini samosas. But overall; I am glad this place is here. Good Indian Takeout (You really don't want to eat in here). The people running this are from Karachi; so there is a Hyderabadi accent to the food; as a LOT of people from Hyderabad moved to Karachi after partition. Maybe I should try the Biryani here next time?

Edited to add: I have gone here multiple times after my review, and I have never been less than satisfied with everything so far. They were even willing to make me Salty lassi off menu. The Egg Curry is wonderful, and the Baghara Baingan is legit. I am very happy that this place is here so I do not have to schlep to Devon to get this variety of options. I STILL haven't tried the Biryani though. :)

2nd Edit: Tried the veggie Biryani finally. Meh. I have a feeling that the meat Biryani is way better. I will stick to Curries ????

I am a fan of indian food and I must say that this is a great place for take out with genuine indian flavors without the greasiness. Love it and will be back!
