Why is it colder inside than outside? Caucasians we're wearing their coats, scarfs and hats! They told us they turned the heat up but no.
Great little spot to grab coffee, lunch, or stay and get some work done. I came here last week to do some studying. The atmosphere is great for studying, nice and light inside, and the music wasn't too loud. I had a lavender London fog, which I highly recommend. The service was great! The internet connection was pretty slow, so hopefully that can be fixed. Overall good experience!
Truenorth Cafe has become one of my favorite coffee shops the day I went. (1) high quality coffee ! AMAZING! I tried the Lavender Latte, the lavender add a special flower flavor to the coffee, but not too strong ; and the milk foaming was perfect. It was not too sweet and I love it (2) the ambience : a special combination of hippie, modern, industrial style in their decoration. The world map was the key element of their deco. The space is big so you don’t need to worry about the seats. (3) they have bagels and snacks, can stay all day here ! ( and even the printers !!! ). Therefore it won my 5 stars review .
I love this place! It has a unique decor with a lot of travel themed items like globes and maps, and the menu is deceptively simple. As a vegetarian I was quite gratified by the superb choices and veggie wraps and salads you can get here. The service is cheerful, and if that weren't enough, there is even a machine that can print stuff off your phone if you need to. Good coffee, good WiFi, what more could you want?
One of the best work spaces in the area. Really gorgeous, serene decor, and solid coffee and small-bites options. Lil' pricey, but the staff is friendly, the wifi is consistent, and it seems to be a nice hub for both folks working alone and big groups at the back table.
