    Loved this place! We were in Chicago for a few days and heard about this place. Took the L and walked a little. It was well worth the trip. Not only the delish food, but the service and rhe atmosphere were amazing. I loved every minute of it. Cant wait till I return.

    It's Polish food. Better than Jolly Inn, but Staropolska on Milwaukee is still my proper polish food go to. Soups were too watery. Hungarian pancake was a disappointment, stew on it had little flavor and the meat was rough. Rest of the table got pork chops that were decent. Not terrible, but not great and my mother was about to go into the kitchen and tell the chef that their grandmother should be disappointed

    Cozy neighborhood restaurant, very good Polish food. Chefs chicken was tender with a delicious mushroom cream sauce. Dinner salads were delicious with 3 kinds of cabbage, red, sauerkraut, cole slaw. Very reasonable prices.

    Fantastic place for Polish potato dumplings! Really cozy interior. The prices are really good for portion size.

    Second time here in 1 week. And Smakosz DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! I had the sampler platter again. And I splurged and I got the Apple strudel. OMG.......AMAZING!!! It came warm with a side of whip cream and a bed of chocolate sauce!!! I have left overs for dinner tonight including the strudel. As usual service friendly. I have found a new and fabulous restaurant for me to go to. Thanks Smakosz.
