Cozy atmosphere and authentic foods. The desserts are delicious and fresh.
Love it! It's Ukrainian & European styled food, without being heavy or greasy. Their salads (especially the apple walnut with fresh greens & balsamic vinaigrette)...our favorite! A definite treat!
Great appetizers, all foods and very friendly staff! I recommend for you! Also affordable prices!
Stopped in here for lunch one day. The place was very crowded and there were other people already waiting for tables.
The service was very slow, once we ordered, we were completely ingnored. It took forever for everything, even to receive the check at the end.
Veal pan fried and served in a cream sauce with sauteed onions and mushrooms. It was accompanied with potatoes and a house salad.
Slow cooked Ukranian pork chop with a side salad and rice.
For dessert we had the Napoleon and cheesecake.
The food was outstanding, and if you have plenty of time and are not in a rush, give Shokolad a try!

Food (4) : The food seemed well cooked with decent ingredients.
Venue (3): Relaxing atmosphere.
Service (4): The waitresses seem friendly and on the ball.
Price (3): The place seems reasonably priced.
Crowd (4): The other diners were mostly Ukrainian. They all seemed well put together and respectful. At one point there was a birthday and they all joined together for a little song.
Location (-): As a weekend tourist who was being driven around by my friend I didn't really get a good feel for the area. I hear it's in the Ukranian Village part of Chicago though.
