Silli Kori Restaurant

When I first arrived, I was worried the upscale atmosphere would translate to small, pretentious plates or high prices. Neither was true! The menu is short and doesn't have much in the way of customization, but the servings are hearty and the two dishes we tried were delicious. The craft cocktail menu is especially delicious and very reasonably priced. A jewel-like surprise!

We have always loved Silli Kori. Recently they opened a sushi bar in the back of the restaurant called Kave. It is a very good addition to the neighborhood. Very artfully designed and presented plates that are delicious. They even give you a free sample while you are deciding on the menu. The staff is friendly and attentive. Reasonably priced and comfortable atmosphere make it a go to treat.

Good Thai food with good drinks! The pad Thai was different with the omelet top which added a layer of unexpected texture to the bite, and with good flavor. The kao soi was very bland. The drink was good and the service pleasant.
Metered or free street parking, credit accepted, reservation recommended.

Excellent food!! I’ve traveled extensively in Thailand, and the taste here took me back. Excellent service!! You really can’t beat the lunch specials either. Will be back for sure.

Some of the best Asian Fusion food I’ve had. Great atmosphere, the staff was very friendly and the food was just amazing. What stood out was the tuna poke and the spicy scallop roll. From the first bite, I could immediately tell the tuna was one of the best quality you can find. I asked the chef and sure enough, they serve bluefin tuna. Amazing! Get one of their signature rolls. The spicy scallop was outstanding. Extremely fresh and a perfect combination of flavors. Good variety of wines! This has just become one of my favorite spots in Chicago!
