    Cafe Urbano is a true oasis in the neighborhood, i've been coming here since they opened. There aren't many other options around here, and the cafe really fills the niche for a meeting place and cultural hub, not just a coffee & sandwich place. Art shows, music shows, lit readings, and more. Try finding that anywhere else in Irving Park...

    The Metropolis coffee is great, always fresh. Abuelita is good if you want something sweeter. The sandwiches and pastries are tasty, my favorites are the twisted chicken and the pulled pork special when they have it.

    The low reviews here are baffling, the staff is always great and the food is fresh and made to order, so keep in mind it takes longer to prepare. Most times it's also a 1-person show, so if it's busy they may not always have time to chat. If you want fast food, get a muffin.

    Nice neighborhood coffee shop. We like to stop there and chat while sipping coffee.

    Chorizo burrito was tasty and of decent size, and nicely grilled too. Also had the bacon and egg biscuit, which was similarly large. However, I understand bacon is salty, but the bacon in the sandwich was unusually salty.
