My parents would bring me here when I was a little girl and this is still my favorite breakfast spot hands down. Their food has stayed the same. It may take some time to get your food because the place is always packed but it's well worth the wait. The pancakes are the absolute best. The omelets are always great and you never feel skimped. And I even notice some of the people who worked there when I was a kid still work there today. I love this place, it's like going to visit family.

If you are in Chicago, you need to come here. The food is amazing and the price is great for the quality and portion size. I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Very good food at a reasonable price. Service is quick for this tightly packed venue. I feel they should have more booths for dining.

Good food, great atmosphere. Always great customer service from workers who have been working at the pancake house for over 15 years. Good to see a company with a low turnover rate especially for waitresses

This place has always been a favorite of mine for years. If you don't know what to get, go for the Junior Platter (pic below). It comes with 3 buttermilk pancakes, and a choice of sausage, bacon, or an egg for the side. Pair it with a large, fresh-squeezed orange juice and you're good to go.

It's usually busy on weekends, and while parties could be waiting a bit, I think it's worth the wait.
