Have not been here in a while, great fresh decor changes and food better than ever.
Fresh fruit French Toasts and Waffles, truly amazing. The Chicken SweetPotato Waffle was the best waffle I have ever tasted. Went with a group of six and we all marveled at the different tastes and flavors, never before have I had a brunch extravaganza like this. The sandwiches are huge as well and traditional favorites with a twist. Service top notch as well.
Must go when in Lincoln Park . Five Stars plus
The drinks were also fabulous flavored mimosas and bloody Mary’s to die for
I love this place! France’s has great food and attentive service. I like that the chef adds new twists to old favorites, like the sweet potato waffle and fried chicken. This is a must place to go for breakfast, lunch, or a perfect weekend brunch.
Good breakfast place for Those with a sweet tooth, but they have the basics too. Lunch looked good and there were specials on tye board. Not the kind of old fashioned diner deli I remember bit good for an easy meal with wide appeal.
This is my favorite breakfast spot! The new additions to the menu are outstanding and I love that they kept the neighborhood favorites as well.
The fresh interior updates made the atmosphere feel cleaner and is refreshing. Frances was long overdue for some updates.
The staff is amazing. Service is impeccable.
Frances is my go to Brunch spot with family and friends.
An excellent experience of a casual, neighborhood, American diner. I really love the ambience and mood of the restaurant, which seemed lively and engaging. The menu seems to have a full set of choices for breakfast, though their specialty still seems to be sandwiches and lunch. Our service was attentive and excellent. Eventually, the Chef stopped by to make sure that everything was OK. I enjoyed their sausage biscuit and gravy, though the gravy needed a little more sausage. We were able to find street parking, where we paid the meter, without too much trouble, early on a Saturday morning visit.
