Quiet, comfortable...a perfect place for a date night. Food was amazing. We actually commented how we don't remember having a better meal in the recent past. Loved it. We'll be back in time we're in Chicago.

Just WOW. I’ve been here for a few years now since 2 years ago when it opened. Dinner, lunch, brunch, you name it it’s ALL amazingggg here! The service is super friendly and accommodating.
I HIGHLY recommend brunch, the Kurdish breakfast for two is phenomenal and will have you leaving barely able to walk but with the biggest smile.

For dinner, their stuffed chicken is to die for. Absolutely amazing. And so glad to have this gem in Chicago.

I love this gem of a restaurant. warm glow of hanging lamps in a lofted space with brick walls and modern wood floors.

They have fantastic appetizers. You cannot go wrong with either the hummus or baba. Very generous portion. Had the Chicken & Veggie Sac Tawa. Very flavorful.

The Gundis is a delicious restaurant with excellent service. Everything we had was seasoned perfectly, was bursting with flavor and all dishes were hearty and soul warming. The interior is clean and nicely decorated. The staff is willing to explain unfamiliar items. You have to eat here!!

The food tastes great and of high quality. They've created some unique fusions. They offer really great service; the staff is attentive, and friendly. The ambience is really warm. Personally, I enjoy their dinner more than breakfast. Parking isn't as problematic as the rest of Lakeview.
