Cozy place with good appetizers. The bar choices were good, but not extensive. Came here for an event and it was full and closed to the public. I recommend coming here.
My friend and I split the potato pancake/hunter's stew and still had a third of the dish to take home. Excellent Ukrainian borsch soup. Also, though we did split the entree, our total bill plus tip and beer came to $30. The only reason Ferajna doesn't get my fifth star is that there was only a single (very valiant) waitress.
First of all, whatever you do DO NOT PARK ACROSS THE STREET at the dollar store/laundry mat place, it will cost you $140 even if you are back after 3 minutes.
The place looks great to get together with friends for drinks but nothing else. Food is OK. Service is OK too, no fireworks.
Sorry but not impressed.
This is a great modern Polish restaurant. The menu is full of old school Polish standards but with a fresh approach. The food was excellent, I had the pork in mushroom sauce, sauerkraut, beets with horseradish, and potatoes for side dishes.
