Friendly staff and flavorful food in this neighborhood gem. Clean space with reasonable wait times for made-to-order items. Wish it was closer because I would visit more often.
This is an excellent choice for southern comfort food. This restaurant serves a variety of entrees and on Sundays thy offer soul food. Me and my mom had their catfish special and it wasn’t greasy but delicious. The green beans and spaghetti with meat sauce was great. If you are health conscious, particularly with high blood pressure or diabetes, the food is prepared without the extra stuff that would add to those conditions. In other words, it’s low sodium and not over saturated with sugar. I highly recommend the peach cobbler. It was so good. The atmosphere and location of the restaurant was nice and free parking. It was truly a great experience and I will be back.
This restaurant is one of the Best place's. I'm always looking for a Restaurant in the Downtown,South Loop,Hyde Pk and Bronzeville area.
The food is very health conscious with a touch of Love and seasoning.
She changes the menu up daily. For some one that just got back into working out. Start the New year of right.with this restaurant. oh year i i get one cheat day a month. when i can have deserts.i look forward with her wide desert menu. I can go on but this is the first time i ever reviewed a
restaurant. but it is well worth me doing it
The food is absolutely delicious...especially the mac and cheese and the greens. Everything is well seasoned and the portions are appropriate for the price. The restaurant itself and the steam table are very clean and well organized. And the staff is friendly and professional. The only thing I did not like is dining in and being served on a paper plate with plastic utensils. I highly recommend this neighborhood spot and will definitely return again.
