    Truly a gem hidden in the rubble that dots the landscape of the south-east side. Of the same name but not to be confused with the Tacos Nietos on 106th, although they are affiliated. This place makes tacos that are as tasty as they are filling as they are a tad above average in size and filling. Their burritos are also very good. Don’t let the fact that it’s located in what amounts to a closet next to a gas station fool you, the location serves quality food at an affordable price. Be warned that they are CASH ONLY though! Edit:As of 12/2018 they accept major cards.

    I've been visiting Tacos Nietos here for a couple years now and I have nothing but great things to say. The owners and operators are very friendly and the tacos are awesome. Very juicy and generous portions of meat for only $2. I now pretty much only get the asada tacos with cebolla & cilantro and I would recommend them highly.

    BEST TACOS IN SOUTHEAST CHICAGO. I eat here on average of 3 times per week, and they are just as good every time. Consistent, quick and friendly service.
