Cafe Orchid

After spending some time in Turkey I have been to many Turkish restaurants in the US and of those I have been to this one by far has the most authentic Turkish food.

We're never disappointed with Orchid. Everything on the menu is fresh and delicious and the service is prompt and polite. We love coming and taking guests! Always worthwhile.

Our food was very good! It was a bit pricey, our total after tip was $32 for two people sharing a plate. But the atmosphere and pace of service was pleasant and relaxing.

A huge meal for you money, but I’ve had better. I got the chicken sandwich for lunch. I ordered online which was not super easy. You have to sign up and then confirm your email and then order. And it doesn’t exactly update what time it would be ready (it says it will, but doesn’t actually load a time), I logged back in and it didn’t even have a record of my order on my account. Thank goodness I got the confirmation email saying it was ordered.

The chicken sandwich: I wished the pita was stronger, it fell apart as soon as I picked it up and I hadn’t even put sauce on it yet. The chicken was just okay. Feta was good, but actually had way too much on (paid extra for it $1.50, so I guess I can’t complain). And it came with a side of fries, which were pretty pathetic tasting, no seasoning and definitely not made in house. I would have rather had rice as a side.

Great lunch place. BYOB and lunch specials are fine. Haven't had anything bad there. Delicious strong tea offered. Mediterranean decorations inside with cushions and pillows on comfy seating. Covered outside seating also available. Service staff acceptable. Open kitchen. Decent shared parking lot. Summer downside, A/C wasnt working during July and August. Bathroom B-.
