Alegrias Seafood Chicago

I came here with my auntie to have an all you can eat type seafood experience. It was delicious. We got the Alegrias Special which was definitely enough food for 3 to 4 people. We had plenty of leftovers. The sauce was amazing and the crab legs and crawfish were savory. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for quality seafood. Fyi it is BYOB.

Love the food and service. It's always packed so plan on waiting. Also it's BYOB if you want to drink.

Great traditional Mexican seafood. Spicy and satisfying. It is a cozy small table place, with a relatively small staff. Given the quality of the food and number of tables, it may have a wait or you may not be able to eat there during the busiest of times.
The large seafood platters are a bit overpriced--I imagine because shipping high quality seafood all the way to Chicago is expensive. Despite the price, I was very pleased with my meal and recommend it to my friends (just get an entree instead of a 'family platter'. Service could be better, and I would behoove the owner to talk to his staff about being more timely to their tables despite being overwhelmed by the amount of people who eat there. Your food is great!

We came here to celebrate my sisters last day in the USA! This place has BYOB we decided to bring patron and made our own margaritas they provided us with shot cups and limes/salt! The food is fabulous!! My boyfriend isn’t a fan of seafood so he ordered something else and loved loved loved the food ! The servers are fantastic and very helpful with a spilled drink and if you have a box of beer they will give you a bucket of ice for them. Today was a lot of birthday celebrations and I can’t wait to come back for mine!

Good food. Pricy... But good. Not sure if fries and salad belong. The the rest is good. I would eat again...but need to recoup on $
