Great beer selection. Cheese curds are money. Service is usually good unless it's packed. Brunch is a great deal
It’s my neighborhood go-to. They have two full walls of taps so if you like specialty/seasonal beers this is your place. Bartenders have great suggestions and can give you samples if you’re unsure. Food is great as well. Can get loud on OSU gamedays so if that’s not your thing avoid Saturdays during college football season. Their NYE party was fun and affordable too, throwing that out there! Easy walk from Brownline Southport or Wrigley area.
Love the service here Bushra (aka) Terry is amazing Morgan is one of the best bartenders ever food is amazing. The atmosphere is cozy very welcoming I love the wood work on the bar the upstairs is pretty casual
We stumbled into The Butchers Tap expecting nothing and left huge fans. First, the service was excellent, not pushy but very informed. He guided our experience in the right direction starting with his knowledge of the over 50 craft beers offered. I had the October special, a bratwurst sampler that would impress any Wisconsinite. Four fancy brats, toast points and a touch of sauerkraut and grain mustard. But there were easily ten other things that I can’t wait to try next time. Well done!
Standard American restaurant. Food is good. Drinks are excellent. Patio is great especially when there is a street fair. If you are in the area and looking for something American cuisine, go. Family friendly.
