CornerStone Café

This is a cute café with a cozy feel to it. I could see that it can get busy, but there was adequately sized to handle it. Our server was polite and efficient too.

I ordered the spinach and feta cheese omelette. It came with hash browns and your choice of toast or something other things. I was happy they had a green sauce at the table, it went nicely with my omelette and browns ????

I love this place! The food is great, service is friendly, and the ambiance is classic cafe/diner without being too quaint.

The omelettes are perfect in appearance with ample fillings. The pancakes are tasty and light (as far as pancakes go). Hash browns aren't greasy. The Monte Cristo is packed with turkey and ham (although I'd prefer raspberry jam on the side instead of honey mustard). Thumbs up for the sweet potato fries, too.

Note: the kitchen closes at least 15 minutes before the restaurant, so don't plan on slipping in at 3:50 for lunch.

Very good food and quite big portions. This place became easily my food heaven and preferred place to eat. Kind staff. Fast service. Acceptable prices.

After driving past this lovely spot many times over the years, finally decided to give it a shot ... what a find! Tucked into its corner setting on a major intersection makes this neighborhood spot easy to overlook on the outside but offers an intimate streetscape and diner experience on the inside. Huge menu, generous portions, fresh ingredients. Everything cooked from scratch with care. Best breakfast experience for several blocks around. Worth the 10-15 minute wait.

Consistently quality food. Amazing service, some of the best people in the city. Proper diner feel, great any time of the week.
