Athena Greek Restaurant

Food is really good and plentiful. Saganaki (flaming cheese dish) is really excellent. Prices are a bit high for my taste. Very courteous and accommodating wait staff. We came in soaked from the cold rain and were seated immediately -- but the hostess came and asked if we wanted to move tables to be near the fireplace to warm up which I think is excellent customer service.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely and the service was incredible! Everyone and everything was above and beyond our expectations and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Recent atrium style dining room remodel and expansion from several years ago very impressive. Transformative experience. Excellent food even better service. Very clean and beautiful bathrooms. Open concept bar, main dining and outside patio weather permitting. I think this will be my new favorite Greek Town go to spot.

Athena probably has the best decor and ambiance of any Chicago Greek restaurant. The food is good but nothing to write home about, though portions are generous and the price is fine. If your looking for a place to lounge with a large group, and with a nice space and vibe, Athena is great. The place absolutely feels like it should be on the Mediterranean, with parts of the restaurant that embrace the look and feel of a traditional greek place and are more cozy, and other parts that feel like a modern design space.

Love this place, especially in the summer! Great food, great atmosphere. It has a nice bar as well you can have a drink and chat around until your table is ready. Very welcoming, and great customer service. Prices are not too expensive.
