The fried rice is SCRUMPTIOUS! I cant go to chant and not get it. Intimate setting and tasty cocktails. Oh! The duck tacos are also delicious!
The food was absolutely wonderful!!! Lobster Rangoon and Spinach and Tofu...Delicious! But, the wait staff left something to be desired. I went for lunch, and got there before Noon. They had just opened at 11:30am. So, maybe my waiter was just finding his groove for the day. I don't know. I still tipped him $5 on a $35 check, but it would have been a larger tip...had he been nicer. He was very cold, callous and stone faced. There was some kind of sticky sauce on my table, and he sat my menu directly in it.
Not necessarily his fault, but when I asked him to wipe it for me, and asked for another menu...he rolled his eyes and walked away in a huff like it was an unreasonable request. But, who wants sticky mystery sauce on their hands right before they're about to eat? And it was probably from the night before, since they'd just opened, which is even more disgusting. So, I think it was a very reasonable request and I asked nicely with a smile. So, his response was disappointing. I also felt like his initial annoyance with my request, set the tone for how I was treated the rest of my time there. It was kind of uncomfortable. The first time I went, I was promptly greeted with a smile, but that was in the evening and I only got a menu...promising to return. I wished I'd stayed to eat that night because I might have had a better experience. But the food was so good that I still give it 4 stars. I will give it another chance, and hopefully next time, I'll have a better experience. Kudos to the chef.
I went here on a Saturday night, had dinner, and then later that evening, they move the tables out of the way for live a DJ or a band. It was a lot of fun to experience eating and the opportunity to listen to music. Everyone was dressed up for a night out which made it even more fun. The food is considered a fusion of traditional and contemporary Asian. Good food, not my favorite Pad Thai (I'm pretty picky on this) but it is gluten free! Plenty of choices on food, so I would say, its worth a try.
