A very good sports bar a few too many TV's though. the light I could be better it's too bright but the food was very good and a really good beer selection

First time visitor. Impressed. Nice layout, friendly bartender. Good food. Nice neighborhood joint. Will be back.

Wow! Best The Globe Pub I've had! Very similar to what I had in Chicago, IL over cooked, not heavenly battered, not greasy, cook to perfection!
Food: I got the combo, Fish/Shrimp/Fries, tartar sauce on the side. The COD was cooked perfectly, golden color, cooked thoroughly too. Shrimps are not the small ones either, def order them! Tartar sauce on overly powering. Love this truck, when I come back into town, I will visit here again for sure!!!

I give the globe pub at 1934 West Irving Park five stars. This local drinking establishment had a great selection of appetizers, craft beers, cold served and hot served Foods. We ordered their hamburger platter and it was excellent. We also ordered their hummus and veggies, chicken finger appetizer and chicken quesadilla appetizers. They all were served quickly and hot. We also tried some of their signature cocktails like their cucumber Moscow mule, and they're done Julio margarita. Parking was a little challenging but some of our friends took an Uber so that made it a lot easier. I love that they have Monday through Friday happy hour from 4 to 7 PM. Half price all cocktails and half price all appetizers. And half-price bottles of wine. Wonderful local establishment with friendly and inviting atmosphere.

Best place to grab a drink and some appetizers before a movie. For value, The Globe Pub has great deals for happy hour, especially on the food. The pizza, tacos and deep fried green beans are always great for happy hour. The fish and chips are great, the cook does a good job keeping the "greasy"! Burgers and salads are awesome as well!
