Chicago Waffles

Great neighborhood breakfast place. Good food and portions for the price. Lots of options ! Their Salmon Benedict is very good !

My husband and I have come here often, with and without kids, for breakfast and brunch. Food is always served prompt, service has been friendly and fast, never ending coffee refills, and good menu. The menu isn’t too large which I like, because they can focus of quality rather than quantity. Stated the obvious, it’s busy on the weekends. However, I’ve never had to wait over 30 min. Good neighborhood spot.

I am from New York City and this was my first time ever visiting Chicago. I decided to have breakfast at this location. My god, Chicago Waffle is by far the best place I’ve eaten in a very long time. Their food, amazing, their coffee, to die for. Staff was great. I highly recommend the egg white chicken omelette. And not to mention, the prices where very, very reasonable. Definitely coming back before I leave back home.

The service was excellent and our food came quickly. I had a waffle and my husband had an omelet. The prices are very reasonable.

The service was very dysfunctional. 3 different people came up to our table before the server. One asked if we wanted coffee or water and we had water at the table. When we said sure on the coffee she said someone else would be over to take our order. Very strange interaction. The waffles themselves are great and the get the food out right away. Like I mean 5 minutes they had out food out and they were busy. That being said stay away from any Benedict's or anything like that. The salmon, pulled pork, and steak had absolutely zero flavor. My girlfriend had the cinnamon apple waffle. That was pretty tasty. All and all not a bad place I just think there are better options available in the area.
