La Ciudad Mexican Grill & Cafe

I love the food at this place, and the people. Service is always excellent, the chef occasionally comes out to say hello, and the mole enchiladas are exceptional.

I have passed this place a hundred times and have never thought to stop in. I decided that needed to change and I absolutely was not disappointed. From when I first walked into the restaurant to the time I left, I was astonished how friendly everyone was and how phenomenal the food tasted. Everything is home cooked down to the best chips and salsa you'll ever have in your life--not even remotely joking. La Ciudad is such an amazing hole in the wall restaurant in Uptown. I highly recommend trying this place if you're on the fence, it's earned it's 5 stars and I'll be coming back for more soon!

if you're ever in the uptown area you need to visit this place hands down if it was a 10 on here I will give it you have to visit the points when you in the uptown area this place is right off of the red line Wilson stop you will enjoy it trust me ????????????????????????????????????

Great food and the owner's brother was there as our server. Nice menu. Simpler less expensive dishes as well as a few higher priced specialty dishes. Decor looks kind of fancy from the outside but the atmosphere is very relaxed and inviting! I will visit again!

Great food and great staff. BYOB which is also a perk and if you bring tequila they'll make margaritas. Don't hesitate to order the pork chops as they're amazing.
