Café Corbel | Bakery & Coffee Shop

Cafe Corbel was a nice surprise for me, as I passed by the street a lot without noticing that there was a cafe here until I found it on Google maps. The place was spacious with the front area reserved for brunch crowd while there's also a back area was for people working with their laptops out. The back area had enough power outlets which is a huge plus. Pastries were pretty and tasty, and coffee was decent. The staffs were friendly and helpful too. Overall it was a really nice cafe and I will definitely come back!

Lovely cafe with amazing pastries and brunch food. This is the perfect place to relax with a cup of coffee, catch up with friends, or get some work done. They also offer delicious birthday cake.

We stopped in after a chilly walk through Lincoln Park and loved the baked goods so much we ended up going back to the counter for seconds. Everything is made in-house and is fresh and tasty. The banana bread in particular is delicious!

My initial review was not favorable as I had a less than desired first impression via delivery. However, their quick and fair customer service was exceptional. That and their tasty chicken soup are worth another try... probably in house, not delivery.
