Sabri Nihari Restaurant

Great restaurant. Lots of amazing food options. The mixed grill is fantastic value, and the karahi chicken is the best in Devon in my opinion.

They also have extremely generous portions. They fill their serving dishes to the very top.

The food at Sabri Nihari is delicious and the portions are generous. The service is not helpful or friendly. Pricing is very reasonable, and the atmosphere is ok.

The quantity of the food was amazing. We never thought it there serving will be so big. The food was spicy it might be our fault we never mentioned to make it mild. May be it was very cold and everything in cold feels more spicy.

The restaurant was okay overall, but I expected a little more.
Me and my group came for lunch and got a table. First thing we saw was the white tablecloth was dirty on the side and we asked to change the table. The second thing was that my knife also had something on it from last time for not being washed properly.
In terms of food, it was good except the kabobs. They were kinda dry and hard.

We have been coming to Sabri for past 20+ years. We used to absolutely love coming here, we've seen them build the new location from bottom up after the older location burned down.

This is still hands down the best place to bring in people from out of down that would like a taste of Devon.

However, as much as we used to love Sabri back in the day, very sad to say that the quality has been struggling for past few years. We have noticed that the quality of the food is not consistent; it really depends on what time of the day you go in, what day it is, in order to get decent food quality. The quality keeps going up and down and the pricing keeps going up regardless of the quality of the food and quantity.

There have been numerous times we have had to send food items back because either they were burnt, or taste was off, or something else was wrong.

I hope the owner and family don't take this review in a negative way but only as a honest review from a long time customer to fix the issue.
