Food is always fresh. Can be quite crowded for such a tight space and if it's crowded on the inside they stop taking call in orders. Don't really make sense but I guess. Overall, one of the better bbq spots on the southwest side of town.

I love their rib tips and hot links! You get a nice amount for the price, and the meat us always tender. Location is minus a star.

I discovered this place had BBQ Turkey tips. I tried them and they were awesome. I ended up ordering a full tray for my Block Club's annual Christmas party. They were a hit with my neighbors and friends. We will definetaly buy them for future events. We had ours delivered for the party. But, for walk in customers there may be a wait. But it is worth it.

Food was fantastic. I ordered the Turkey tip/wing combo. The prices are reasonable. I gave the restaurant 3 stars because of the wait. Be prepared to wait 25-40 minutes.

Sunny's is a very family oriented barbecue establishment. The food is very good and has been for years now. I appreciate how the different various generations are basically running the restaurant. Everyone is very friendly, helpful and patient with me every time that I visit. The is made to order and it does not take all day and or all night for them to get your food to you. Even though I do live seemingly close the the Sunny's restaurant, it has been rather cold lately and my food had still been nice and hot once I make it in the house and sit down to eat. I am actually looking forward to the expansion of Sunny's where as the evolve in to a sit down and eat barbecue restaurant. There are not many if any on the south side and I feel that they have the quality food and friendly service to make that a goldmine.
