    Overall good. I did take issue that you charge 1.25 for a small cup of syrup AFTER u gave me a baby cup of syrup for two Big pancakes I think its UNFAIR that you do that. I tried my best to stretch the one little cup of syrup - its impossible. Please please change this. Otherwise, food and service is good

    I absolutely fell in love with this place from my very first visit more than 6 years ago & have been returning since.
    It's hard to find a place in Chicago that has that southern style like grandma used to make!
    Drop bisquits,grits & home fries bring back childhood memories of visiting grams farm every summer.
    Awesome staff, cute atmosphere, and AMAZING food! Totally recommend this place!

    I love breakfast at sweet maple cafe. My hubby loves it even more! Biscuits are so soft they melt in your mouth. Antique feel......be prepared to wait a long time on weekends. Theres never an empty table here. We always leave here feeling happy :)

    A timeless establishment that provides great quality breakfast and service. I'm a fan of their sweet items on their menu, and the biscuits are always on point. The line waiting times can be daunting, but going during off-peak hours helps avoid the wait. The ambience is cozy, and a pleasant difference from the rest of Taylor Street!
