They offer daily food specials. I had the steak tacos special, chicken wing appetizers and "snake bites" jalepeno poppers. Large drink menu selection available. Very nice modern, country decor and friendly waitstaff. Free parking available
Good bar food . Bacon wrapped grilled cheese is fantastic . Good live music. Great neighborhood bar.
Went for a night out and enjoyed live country music. The servers were very attentive and nice. We had a great time and would definitely recommend!
Cold beer, great specials!! Unbelievable food!
I usually try to visit a place a few times before I write a review, just to make sure the first visit was a fair representation of the venue. I have now been for Firewater half a dozen times, and have yet to find anything bad on the menu. The service is great, the macro-beer is served cold in a frosted mug (craft beers, of which there are many to choose from, are serve in style-appropriate glassware), and the food is hot straight from the kitchen. Check their website for happy hour and daily specials, which can save you a ton of cash!
If I had to complain about something, it would be that they prop the inner door to the breezeway open. This causes a gust of ball-shrinking air to blow across the bar every time a patron enters or exits the building. It didn't help that it was the day after a blizzard and the temperature was well below normal to begin with. But they call it a breezeway for a reason....
But don't let that scare you from this great place to eat and drink. You can always sit away from the door! I highly recommend this place, and will be back many more times!
The food is a pretty big step up from standard bar food and fairly tasty in its own right. The biggest knock I have is the service. It takes forever for anything. It seemed as though servers were just running all over the place. We had 3 different servers come to our table. Food is good, I like the vibe, good spot for drinks, but the service has been lacking every time I've gone.
