Paladar Restaurant and Rum Bar

The employees are extremely nice and the place is very clean. My three stars are for the lack of price on food items. Are you purposefully not pricing so people are too embarrassed to say no at checkout? I asked employees, and they said it was purposefully done and a major complaint they hear. Put prices on all products.

Clean bathroom, plenty of parking (even truckers), great choice of sandwiches, pizza, fried fish, fried chicken, even fried pickles! Good selection of snacks and drinks, plus beer and wine. A few car supplies, as well as fishing needs. Staff was extremely friendly and efficient. Gas prices are a few cents higher than neighboring stations.

Dippers were cold. Was there at 11:50. No reason for cold food at lunch time.

New Shell and Convenience Store! The store has a beer cave, pizza and chicken! It’s a really nice store with clean bathrooms and lots of parking. A great stop on the way to the river or campground!

Odd. Good food, great mojitos and Live music but the place is missing it. Not sure what but the restaurant is less than its parts.

Beautiful place, excellent service and above all excellent food. The prices were also great. We had the chance to meet the owner and he even invited us to have some shots. I want to go back!

Amazing place, staff is very informative and their attitude makes you feel comfortable. Food is delicious, they have a variety of plates and desserts that sometimes you don't know what to order because everything sounds really good!!! It's a family owner restaurant! You would not regret if you give it a try!

Amazing food with very informative staff. Some of the recipes date back a couple hundred years, and they definitely have aged very well. Great experience. Recommend to anyone who is looking for a new local, family owned favorite.
