    Subway at 3346 W. Foster is a better than average example of this franchise fast food business. The immigrant owners and staff are friendly and polite, and they understand most dialects of Midwestern American English. They make good sandwiches and don't try to skimp on ingredients. Their parking lot accommodates nine vehicles (one handicapped) and the snack shop has a double door to keep out winter winds. Regular customers are cab drivers from the Shell station & carwash across Foster and students from Von Steuben high school. The students are harmless but occasionally noisey. If you're allergic to adolescents, stay away between 2 and 4 PM weekdays. Why only four stars? If they had Lipton tea and lemon juice packets, I would give them five. Otherwise they have everything you could reasonably expect at a Subway.
