Helpful, polite bartenders. Always good to see a vintage Bourbon County variant on-tap. Cellar selections for on-site consumption are fair price.
Great beer selection. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Nice to be able to try out a few Bourbon County variants from the cellar. My only gripe is the prices they’re charging are higher than secondary prices. If you show up at the right time you can catch some awesome beers on tap also. Got a pour of 2015 Rare and it was delicious. Definitely worth a visit.
I would recommend the tour. It's a great deal especially since you get three samples of beer and a pint glass included in the price. They have a lot of interesting beers and there's a bar where you can order more to try after the tour. The whole place has a fun atmosphere so whether you want to learn more about beer or just hang out it's a good place to go.
Jen was super informative, she did an outstanding job. We learned so much! I’m not sure how Jen does it, she was upbeat and never tired out. Impeccable hospitality. I have always loved Goose Island but I never expected it to be this good. I cannot wait to do this tour again!!!! The entire Goose Island team was wonderful, thoughtful and they really know their stuff. This has inspired to try more Goose Island beers and not just my old favorites. Keep up the excellent work!!! ????
Inside is very modern and cozy but has a small case of a corporate feel. Beer selection is solid, and it’s awesome you can get vintage bourbon county bottles (be prepared to pay though). Being Goose Island, the total size of the tap room seems small so it fills up fast, but there are also plenty of spots to stand. Service was good even while packed. 16 tap handles so there should be something for everyone to enjoy. Probably not a place I would frequent since the location is in a mostly industrial area with very little else around it. If you’re a goose island or bourbon county stout fan this is a must stop.
