Don't judge a book by its cover. VPT doesn't have the greatest curb-side appeal, but inside is a great, cozy place and the staff was very polite. I can only attest to their burgers, but if that's a good indication of the rest of the menu, then this is well worth the stop for anything on the menu.

When it comes to tacos I am pretty picky and off the top of my head I only have but a couple places near me that are worthy . Well consider this spot one of them. The steak meat is incredible, and I think the tortillas might be home made. If they are not I would be shocked . The taco dinner came with the abviouse beans and rice , but this place even gives you a little side salad . The plate was decorated nicely as if it was put together by a famous chef. good burgers in a cute joint off the beaten path. gem for the area but would not stand out in more developed areas like lincoln park. not worth coming across town for the food but would go in a heartbeat if in the area.

VTP makes the best burgers I've had in a while.

My personal favorite is the Firecracker, it's got lots of spice and flavor.

If you want something less spicy, you can't go wrong with a Rambler.

Waffle fries are on point, order with cheese on the side.

Love the Burgers but would like it better if they had better prices . They cost to much. $20 burger meals. I could see if they charged $14 or $16 but not $20 for a burger fries and a 12 once drink. That doesn't include the tip
