My new absolute favorite spot! Came here with a friend for the first time back in December one night when we were craving sushi around 10PM. We looked up some spots in the Chicago area and decided to give this place a try and I am SO, SO, SOOO glad we did! Super tasty dishes and such a chill environment! PLUS they're open late usually and the service is delightful. Everyone is very kind, polite, and very respectful which makes me super happy. I loved this place so much I even came back with my boyfriend the following week! Him and I now have an obsession with this place and are starting to pick-up or dine-in every (other) weekend since it's super close to a relatives house. Some of my favorites are:
-The Caramel Crunch Roll which is super creative, sweet, and crunchy. Definitely my top favorite roll, it's almost like candy, YUM!
-The Dragon Roll, my second favorite, that's prepared fresh every time.
-The Yosemite Roll, containing mango and I'm a huge fan of mango in sushi.
-Their Crab Rangoon and Edamame appetizers.
-Their Lime Iced-Tea which is fantastic and super tasty!
If you haven't tried this place yet, you definitely need to. It's a wonderful little spot and I plan on becoming a regular here for sure!

My boyfriend and I recently got into sushi. We decided to go out one night and after careful review of a few places nearby, we decided on Zoku. We ordered the Chicago, crunchy spicy shrimp roll, Beef fried rice and crab rangoon. Everything was phenomenal, we ate it all. My favorite Thai spot is a little further up North Ave. near Western, called Thai Lagoon but they don't serve sushi. The rice and crab rangoon tastes exactly the same as the food from Thai Lagoon. I wonder if it's the same owner or related. Glad to have tried this spot out, they also deliver to us, whereas Thai Lagoon doesn't so very ecstatic about that.

I never leave reviews but I absolutely loved this place!! Best sushi ever and the price was so reasonable. Staff was really sweet. I had the Godzilla Maki I definitely recommend. Great environment I will definitely be back thank you!

Good food! Good interior design. Good service. The street looks crappy but walking in you feel like it's a little hideout from the city outside. My only complaint is that its A little cold inside.

Definitely didn't expect how good the food was here. The vibe in the place is so chill and relaxing, you don't want to leave. Very open but intimate space for late night sushi. More then just sushi on the menu. I highly recommend the Chicago. Please don't second guess this place based on location. Try it, worth the experience.
