Uncle Remus Saucy Fried Chicken

Well well well, no good customer, but the chicken was not bad. If the person who pick up the phone does not hang up at you, make sure you tell them that you want the sauce on the side. When we order we ask for the sauce so they put the sauce all over incluiding the fries. The sauce is good but not on the top of everything you have ordered. This restaurant take out only, the area didn't look safe for me, bunch of police cars around including sheriff's. On the corner of the place was so much going on. Bottom line.. if you are around the area, get your chicken , but if you are not I think the drive is not worth it. Popeyes can serve the same chicken just without the sauce.

This is a local favorite! They have the best mild sauce that I've tasted! The chicken is fried but good. Make sure to call ahead, but they stop taking phone orders at 8:00 PM. The "Grab Pan" is very economical. The wing meals are a little expensive, but taste wonderful. This place is perfect for large party orders and the more wings you buy the less they cost per wing. If you're lucky, you may even be able to buy their mild sauce separately. The menu offers a wide range of fast food...burgers, Italian beef, pizza puffs and such.
