DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. IT'S WAY MORE EXPENSIVE.
Website doesn't say anything about this, but it's clear when you look at the menu in the restaurant, and the woman I spoke to when I got my take out order confirmed this. I had tried calling twice before ordering online, but both times it rang once, then hung up.
Decent pizza. Garlic cheese bread is made on a sandwich roll.
My kid only eats cheese pizza( very picky). When were in the uptown area. He always asking me can we stop by Gigio's. For Ten dollar 12" cheese pizza, can't beat the price. Plus it's really good pizza, perfect amount of cheese and sauce, crust is good little thick, but still good.
Easily one of the top gems of Chicago! Prices are great, pizza is even better!!!! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. If you haven’t tried it, you have to give it a chance! The thin crust pizza is phenomenal! Definitely a Chicago classic.
We stumbled across this little jem today and were just so blown away by the pizza! We ordered two Jumbo Slice deals with sausage and were surprised that each came with two Jumbo Slices and a drink! The slices were huge, the sausage was delicious and the crust was out of this world! The pizza is New York style, easy to fold or just hold, either way the bottom line is the pizza is the bomb! The service was great, fun, and funny, the dining room was clean and ample for a crowd. The decor is bits of Italy, a walk up counter to place your order and comfortable tables and chairs to eat and relax. We met a lovely girl, the owners daughter, she spoke of her father who started the business and gave us a little history of what region of Italy they came from, a town that is a stones throw from Palermo Sicily. Gigio's is great for a fun evening or afternoon out, a couple, a family, and even a small crowd. It is family friendly, both young and old would totally enjoy this cute little JEM! If you have never been, you need to go!
Stopped by late Saturday night. Picked up 3 slices for $11.50. They hot and tasty! Highly recommended if your in the area.
