The Best Korean BBQ in Chicago. I've been holding out on this review because we kinda like the fact that it is a hidden gem and not many people know about it. This is not a fancy place, however, the food is much better than the table ware.
The owner is very welcoming and you will feel like you are having a home cooked meal even though you will be cooking it like traditional Korean BBQ. Portions are great and everything is good. Great place for a quiet date because If you go at the right times you might enjoy having your own section.
Parking is easy on the street, free and paid depending.
Great place also for enjoying Korean beer with friends, watching TV and relaxing. You want be disappointed with the food. Get the Pork Belly, but it all is good. Make sure to GPS the address as it is somewhat hidden, but right on the West side of Kedzie.
Cute hole-in-the-wall Korean barbecue restaurant. Very small and intimate inside. Menu items include barbecue and soup. We chose two soups: kimchi and soy bean paste. Both were delicious and spicy, the kimchi exceedingly so. The banchan (appetizers) were also very good.
What an awesome hospitable place. Easy to miss and seems like a hole in the wall but the food is delicious and the portions are huge. A way better deal than some other places in the same area. Nice and quiet, we were the only people there. The lady who must own the place was so nice and friendly and i felt like i was eating at a korean mom's house. Would love to come back.
Husband and I loved the home feel here and the food is delish!
