Great prices, great pasta. The only downside is the wait you will get if you go at a peak time - but that is expected given its small size and immense popularity. If you can, be seated at the “bar” which will give you a chef’s table-like experience minus the large price tag. All in all this is a great place for affordable pasta and I highly recommend the melt-in-your-mouth Jalepeno Gnocchi with the creamy vodka sauce. Cheers!
Great place for dinner. Atmosphere is ok but not elegant. Go for the food and price. Italian food made while you watch that is great on flavor and taste. Set up is like an old soda fountain.
Very good environment if you are ever craving for pasta. Went there with a group of friends on the night of our concert and it was perfect. I felt comfortable and welcome which I would definitely recommend to those in the area
I love this place. They have the best pasta dishes in Chicago and very very affordable prices in Lincoln Park which is usually expensive. The place is small but it's cozy. and they make the pasta right in front of you They have all sorts of good options. Definitely recommend
The prices are so fair, especially for the portion sizes given. You definitely won't leave hungry. There's usually a wait given the small size and the popularity of the restaurant. I came around 9pm after a show and there was still a 20 minute wait and was seated next to the bathrooms. Despite this, my guests and I thought our meal was delicious. The pacing of the food is great with our appetizers served quickly and our pasta served shortly after finishing that.
