I got the Phoenix Single Bush tea and loving it! Beautiful and cozy place, very friendly staff, who took the time to welcome me and recommend certain teas, based of my favorite flavors. I can't wait to go back and try more kinds of tea. Highly recommend it!

The only CHINESE TEA CEREMONY in Chicago that is standard when you drink-in. ???? My first and previous Chinese Tea Ceremony was in China 10+ years ago with a pee pee ceramic statue (Chinese thought it was funny for comedic presentation).

Now common, JAPANESE TEA CEREMONY is also performed here. We just need a geisha to make it interesting. ????

GRADE and PREP is important here! NOT BRAND. For plain Cold Matcha, I automatically got Casual/Mid-Grade.

What an experience! We came an hour before closing when the busyness had died down and the servers were able to take the time to talk with us about the tea. They were very knowledgeable and helpful in recommending different teas for my husband and I. We throughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely return!!!

The best mocha I have ever had! We were in town for business so I was a little nervous when I saw the line out the door....but once you taste the coffee, you see why! So good and totally worth the wait (which was not that long at all).

I'm so thrilled this place exists. I'm a huge fan of traditional tea preparation and I am grateful for the tea guides at east hill who take it as seriously as I do! The art displayed on the walls is great, the high end and entry level tea sets are displayed beautifully, and the atmosphere is inviting.
