Love the place was my first time in there, small but felt really cozy, had a blt and omg it was the best????, to the cook you’re the best ????????????????????????

My husband bright me here as he used to frequent it in his earlier days. However, I really enjoyed the breakfast! No bells or whistles, but they don't try to be something they're not.

Food and prices are great. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Wonderful old time diner atmosphere. The cleanliness was fine for me. Some food on the mats by the grill but hey, it happens. I have eaten breakfast at many places like Hollywood Grill, Cosy Corner, Wisk, Sunshine Grill, etc...The Belmont Snack Shop was just as good at half the price. The whole experience makes this my new go to place. A genuine pleasure on all levels.
Came again the following weekend and it proved to be consistent in quality and service.

New update, I ordered the BBQ Bacon Cheese burger...Let's just say...1/2 Lb of pure Bliss.
Seriously, one of the best burgers I have even eaten.

One of the best Diners I have ever visited. Return whenever I'm in town. A Chicago blast from the past. Comfortable atmosphere, friendly helpful crew, great food prepared with true care. Highly recommend.

I just moved in to an apartment near this little shop, so my roommate and I decided to eat breakfast here. Apparently the place has been around forever, and there's a reason why. It's excellent breakfast food with an old time feel. I only ever see Paul in there cooking, and pretty much everyone in there is a regular when I've gone. I haven't tried anything but their omelettes (which come with amazing hash browns), but I'm sure it's all good.
