Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse

I am probably the least qualified person to review this as a vegetarian but I am going to try as I went there for a team dinner. Staff was humble and courteous but didn't have many options for vegetarians (can you see the irony) but nonetheless from what my colleagues told me the food was really good and they would rate this 5 stars unfortunately though I am only giving it 4.

Loved my visit here. Had one of the best Steaks I've ever eaten. The waiter was amazing and knew the cuts of meat inside out. Would definitely recommend this stop if you're in Chicago

So myself and 3 colleagues wanted to have a good steak and some drinks. We found this great steakhouse and a server name Joe who made our evening an awesome experience. We were shown this 5lb lobster and these beautiful cut steaks ????. So we shared the lobster ???? and the steak and a wailing good time. The meal was plentiful and we were stuffed. The atmosphere was wonderful and inviting. I had so much fun I told them I’m never going out with them again.

Gibsons had the best service (ask for Joe) and some of the best steak I've ever had! I had the filet with mashed potatoes - it all came out perfect. This is my favorite restaurant in Chicago, by far! If you're looking for excellent service, make sure you ask for Joe - he went above and beyond to give me a personalized and amazing experience. I will definitely be back!

Super attentive service. We were in and out within a hour of arriving! I had the porterhouse steak which had great flavor, crisp but still very moist. The chicken was moist as well. Sides of spinach and twice baked potatoes were a shareable size. Also, I appreciate our waiter telling us this info upfront rather than allowing us to super over order. I also ordered the carrot cake which I’m still working on days later - it’s deliciously HUGE!!
