My 1st time here. Everything was pretty good minus the sweet and sour cauliflower. It was too oily and unfortunately lacked the strong flavor that sweet n sour usually has. The dish really could have used more sauce overall. It was served with rice which I didnt even finish due to the fact that there wasnt any sauce to soak up with the rice. Our appetizers were good as was my friend's dish. I would go back to try other dishes but for Asian food, personally, I would go to Yummy Yummy or Urban Vegan first.
To 3 healthiest resto in Chicago... They mail so many dishes ... Desserts to die for... Owner is humble and there daily... Prices are right...I wish I can give them 6 stars....
Great variety of vegan foods. Also gluten free and soy free items. Amazing matcha latte drink
The employees were very polite
The music selection was soothing ????
Love all the decorations and quotes on the walls.
Will definitely visit again.
After a trip to Beyond the Streets my sister and I got hungry. We stopped by Sage for some lunch and were very delighted with this vegan choice. Don't typically eat vegan but always down to try new things. We ordered the jackfruit nachos for an appetizer, so much flavor! Definitely must try. For my lunch I got the hot wing salad (buffalo cauliflower, celery, avocado, onion and carrots on a bed of mixed greens) loved it. We were very happy with our lunch today.
I love this place for vegan food. The fried shrimp appetizer is so good and tastes and feels so much like shrimp that I had to ask. Served with tartar sauce but really could use cocktail sauce as an additional choice.
On this visit I ordered the Chow Mein Noodles and barely got through it. Vegetables were at a total minimum. The seasoning on this dish tasted too salty for me and no sauces we're available on the table.
Raw desert choices were in the $7.95 range and I thought that a bit pricey. Dinner for two came in at $65 dollar range including 20% tip. I think some menu choices are definitely better than others and because of that and the price it's not an all the time place to eat for me but enjoy visiting when I do.
